Vehicle Wrap cost concerns
The most common question business owners have concerning vehicle wraps is “how much will it cost to wrap my vehicle?". Please keep in mind that vehicle wraps are not an expense but rather an investment. If done properly, one of the best investments your business will ever make.
The short answer is there are many variables (listed below); but most will be looking at $1200-$2500 for a vehicle wrap plus design fees.
While we want to offer competitive pricing and satisfy our customers, by shopping on price alone you may not receive the proper solution or quality necessary for an effective long lasting vehicle wrap advertisement campaign.
Sometimes opting for a partial wrap and spending more on design may be a better choice in the long run.
Same is true of materials. We use only the highest quality materials but what if you only needed a temporary vehicle wrap for just a year or less? Using materials designed to last 5 years or more would certainly be overkill. Of course shorter term materials cost less, but don't confuse short term with cheap inferior quality materials. While the cost of a select film might seem appealing up front, it may not meet performance requirements in the end. The cost to correct issues caused by using the wrong film is much higher than the cost of buying the correct film initially.
The point is that if you only focus on price you may not end up with the results you need.
The following 8 vehicle wrapping questions will make sure you not only get a great price but also the right product for your needs.

- Decide How Much You Can Afford To Spend. Establish a budget for your vehicle wrap(s) and remember that this is a marketing investment so your focus should be on maximizing your return on investment not on minimizing cost. Spend as much as you can afford to but not less than you need to. Keep in mind that your Vehicle wraps will last for three to five or more years and will be working for you every single day.
- How much material is required? Square footage is the primary driver of price, although not every wrap can be estimated in SF. pricing alone.
- What type of material is being used? There are many vinyl wrap materials available to suit a particular project. High end materials come with various warranties to suit these tasks. Lesser or poorer quality materials may appear to cost less at first, but in the long run (often times the short run) you'll be re-doing your vehicle wrap(s) sooner than you think.
- How long do you need your wrap to last? 1-3 yrs? 3-5+yrs?
- What are the surface irregularities? Are there rivets, screws, corrugations, seams etc. that will require additional attention and labor?
- How curved are the installation surfaces involved? (flat surfaces take far less time and skill to install than a spoiler or bumper with many compound curves)
- Do you need windows covered? One way window films are expensive, and more difficult to integrate into a design.
- How complex is the design? Complex designs can take far more time to design and install. Very complex designs are more suited for non-commercial customization wraps as they're harder to broadcast your message effectively. Most commercial wraps integrate unnecessary design elements thereby impeding effectiveness.
Wraps.Biz is dedicated to generating you more business with quality designs, materials and meticulous installations imperative to ensuring longevity and maximizing the return on your vehicle wrap investment.
